OVERVIEW: The UMD Senior classes got into a friendly competition with each other to fundraise & raise awareness for their non-profit of choice.
PROBLEM: The biggest problem we faced is how to get people to donate during a bad economic time; a global pandemic of 2020, and how to get people to be aware of this fundraiser we are hosting.
SOLUTION: We organized & contacted many small local businesses that would be part of our auction fundraiser. We used the power growth exponential to use the power of connection and network.
RESULT: We fundraised over $3K during our fundraiser auction! And beat the other classes to a friendly-competition
